Lemongrass

Lemongrass is a well known plant for its healing abilities. We use Lemongrass hydrosols sourced in Accra, Ghana as well as importanted essential oils for anti-fungal, anti-bacterial and mosquito repelling properties. Lemongrass is also a good pain reliever with anti-oxidant properties which helps reduce inflammation and speed up healing. 

Shea Butter

Shea butter is great for external and external uses. We use ‘A’ quality cold pressed Shea Butter as our emollient in our butter crumble creams, which helps to seal in moisture keeping the skin hydrated best when used after bathing. We use West African Shea butter sourced in Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana which is rich in vitamin E and A and has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Triterpenes is a compound within shea butter responsible for tissue repair; cell migration, cell proliferation and collagen disposition. Which makes Shea Butter excellent for alleviating symptoms of keloids, eczema, scars, stretch marks, wrinkles and is excellent for toning the skin for an even consistent colour. 

Virgin Coconut Oil

VCO is our main emollient ingredient that also helps to seal in moisture. Our VCO is sourced in Cape Coast, the Central Region of Ghana. VCO is anti-inflammatory, is good for improving scalp health as well as wound healing and protein follicle repair. It’s also known to have some anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties when using it topically.
