Cocoa-Shea Body Butter

Shea Butter, 

Shea Butter: Shea butter is great for external and external uses. We use ‘A’ quality cold pressed Shea Butter as our emollient in our butter crumble creams, which helps to seal in moisture keeping the skin hydrated best when used after bathing. We use West African Shea butter sourced in Bolgatanga, Northern Ghana which is rich in vitamin E and A and has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Triterpenes is a compound within shea butter responsible for tissue repair; cell migration, cell proliferation and collagen disposition. Which makes Shea Butter excellent for alleviating symptoms of keloids, eczema, scars, stretch marks, wrinkles and is excellent for toning the skin for an even consistent colour. 

Cocoa Butter

Cocoa Butter is an excellent emollient which keeps hair moisturised. Cocoa is well knowm for its lite chocolate like aroma which is apealing to the senses. Cocoa butter is good for healing scars, stretchmarks, keloid bumps, eczema, psorisis, dandruff and many other dry skin issues.  

Virgin Coconut Oil

VCO is our main emollient ingredient that also helps to seal in moisture. Our VCO is sourced in Cape Coast, the Central Region of Ghana. VCO is anti-inflammatory, is good for improving scalp health as well as wound healing and protein follicle repair. It’s also known to have some anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties when using it topically.

Morenga Oil

Morenga oil contains behenic oil which is an excellent skin healer as it reduces inflammation and prevents skin and hair damage. Morenga is an emollient that helps to seal in moisture preventing dryness. Morenga also reduces oxidative stress which is great for speeding up wound healing and pain relief. Morenga oil can be used to prevent delayed onset muscle soreness after workouts and pain from arthritis. Morenga oil also helps stimulate hair growth and protect against hair loss. It is able to eliminate or treat dandruff, psoriasis and create a healthy ph balance on skin and hair. 

Peppermint Essential Oil

Is a topical analgesic which helps to prevent pain and relax muscles. It alleviates tension from headaches. Peppermint posesses cooling and antispasmodic properties. Scienctifically identitfied for pain releif associated with fibromyalgia and myofascial pain syndrome. Peppermint is an effective hair growth oil posesseing the potential to increase hair thickness, increase number of hair follicles. Peppermint is alsk has antiseptic properties that kill germs that may build up on the scalp and hair follicles. 

Tea Tea Essential Oil

Tea Tree our essential oil which is good for preventing spots due to its antimicrobial and antiseptic properties. Tea Tree is also antifungal. We use Tea Tree as a fragrance enhancer along with our other two essential oils to create a unique sense of relaxation.
